Gerhard Rosner, (Mag. phil.), born 1967
in Vienna, Austria, currently working on
a research project on Indian rhythm system at the University
of Vienna, studying Tabla since 1989 with
several Indian Tabla masters like Zamir Ahmed Khan
(Delhi), Jatinder Thakur (Vienna) and for
four years with world-renowned Tabla masters like Pandit
Anindo Chatterjee (Kolkata) and Pandit Suresh
Talwalkar (Mumbai). Currently he plays with the Natya
Mandir Music Ensemble (Classical South Indian Dance,
Vienna), Vilagok Hangja (Budapest), Prince
Zeka, Die Dolens, Daniel
Bradley and others. Performances in Austria, Germany,
Italy, Poland, Hungary, India. CD productions with Vilagok
Hangja "Sound of Worlds" , Budapest 2001, Prince
Zeka "die for nothing" Vienna 2004.
